Reviews. Every writer wants one. Every writer dreads them. Part of going on blog book tour has been receiving reviews for All Hallow’s ABC. It’s been an interesting experience.

So far, the book has gotten three reviews through the blog tour and one through other means (direct contact by me) — along with its Amazon and Goodreads reviews.

None of the reviews were paid for, unless you count (for the blog reviews) getting a free book as payment. Three of the reviews were pretty glowing. One was nice, but found fault with a few things. Eh, you can’t win them all.

The reviews vary from in-depth looks at the word choices and illustrations to general thoughts about its cuteness. You can check them all out here:

Rambling Voices in My Head: The one review with a critique. I disagree, but everyone has an opinion.

The best thing about any review is that it means someone out there in the universe has read my book. Yay!!!

ON ANOTHER NOTE: This weekend I will be at the Orange County Children’s Book Festival in Costa Mesa!! I will be signing copies of my book from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, in the Author’s Corner, booth No. 98.
